CBGB was an iconic punk music venue in 1970s Lower Manhattan. The venue shut down in the early 2000s, but if it were reborn today, unconventional musicians and vibrant sounds would reverberate from its doors. A custom typeface, pulsating colors, and knockout type reflect a dynamic punk culture and a musician’s ultimate desire—to be heard.
