Early Days is a project that honors Philadelphia's early firefighters and their heroic contributions to the fire department. To capture this historic period in a contemporary way, a custom typeface was designed, inspired by typographic forms on the first-ever Philadelphia fire badges. The layouts serve as a quiet reflection on the past, featuring simple compositions and bold typography that emphasize solidarity and surprise.
